Implantable Collamer Lens (ICL)
A thin lens is placed inside the eye to correct high glasses power, for people who cannot have laser treatment.

Through a tiny cut, a soft, thin lens is placed inside the eye in front of the natural lens. The natural lens is kept, and the ICL can be removed later if needed. Each eye takes about 20 to 30 minutes, under numbing drops.
Who needs it
Adults with high short-sight or astigmatism, or a cornea that is too thin for LASIK.
